to assist hiring managers and supervisors with administering and EEO compliant recruitments.
This guide lists key EEO pitfalls and provides practical EEO information and strategies
for avoiding them.
It is designed to provide best practices for conducting a fair and legally defensible
hiring process that ensures equity in internal placement actions and external hiring
practices.The hiring process includes any measures, practices, policies, and procedures
used to arrive at a hiring or promotional decision, including but not limited to
recruitment, interviewing, rating and ranking candidates, and final selection.
