Diversity News Video

Diversity News is a video program produced for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion by the VACO Broadcasting Center. It airs on the VA Knowledge Network channel 2, immediately following VA News.  The program is also available on VA’s Content Distribution Network.

The current edition, November/December 2013, focuses on the Defense of Marriage Act and features an interview with Deborah McCallum, Assistant General Counsel in VA’s Office of the General Counsel and legal counsel for VA's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender workgroup.  A transcript for this episode is also available although all editions featured on this page have closed captions. 2013 Editions

  • September/October 2013: VA’s National Diversity Internship Program (NDIP) and features Georgia Coffey, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Diversity and Inclusion, and an interview with a few of VA’s 2013 NDIP Interns (transcript)
